  • Natalee Kafka

    Natalee is the owner of two small businesses: 8th House Marketing and Business Astrology and Turquoise Rising.

    ✿After over 10 years in corporate and agency marketing, she decided to leave her full time career to pursue her passions and be able to spend more time with her kids. Her work at 8th House focuses on authentic and sustainable marketing for small business owners as well as business astrology services.

    ✿She also makes handmade crystal jewelry through her other business, Turquoise Rising, as a creative outlet. You can find her jewelry at many markets and vendor events throughout the year in the Fargo/Moorhead area.

    ✿She is passionate about maintaining a work/life balance and helping other small business owners, especially women and mothers, grow their businesses in a way that feels authentic and sustainable to them.

  • Stephanie Arniel

    Stephanie Arniel is a multifaceted professional excelling in both legal and creative spheres. As an accomplished transactional lawyer, she specializes in helping emerging startups navigate the complexities of entity formation, intellectual property rights, corporate governance, contract negotiations, and disputes. She holds a J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law. Parallel to her legal career, Stephanie owns and operates Sparkl + DOT, a bespoke jewelry business she founded in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 2016. The company is known for its unique, handmade jewelry and accessories, reflecting Stephanie's personal touch and creative vision. Having made North Dakota her home, Stephanie integrates her entrepreneurial spirit with her legal expertise to enhance her business and community engagement.

    Stephanie's personal life is as fulfilling as her professional one. She cherishes quality time with her husband and eagerly awaits the arrival of their first child in September 2024. Stephanie values outdoor activities such as lake visits, soccer games with friends, and walking her chocolate lab, Boone.

    Hey hi hello! I’m Jess and I’m the gal who does it all at May Marie Company + Design! Established in early 2022 and inspired by my two beautiful daughters, MMCo is based out of our home in Minnesota, where everything is created and curated with care, lots of love and too much coffee! ;)
